Hi! My name is Nicole, wife to Joe and mom to Elouise (Lou Lou) & Walter (Wallypop). I have had the love of travel ever since I was young. Growing up on a dairy farm in Wisconsin did not allow for many opportunities to travel but I will never forget my first actual trip, Disney World. I fell in love with the idea of getting on an airplane and being transported to anywhere my heart desired.
Fast forward, I spent 10 years prior to becoming a mom nannying for a family of 4 girls (I started when the youngest was just 2). This is where my travel AND travel planning really took off. I spent many hours planning and booking trips for the family which I was also lucky enough to enjoy with them. Talk about preparing myself for traveling with my own kids. I have learned a lot of tips & tricks, dos and don’ts along the way and I always have a lot of stories, some good and some not so good.
Nothing compares thought to seeing your kids experience things for the first time. When we are not traveling to Disney or other parts of the country we enjoy camping and spending time at our ‘North House’. Lake days are the best!
I love to visit warm places in the winter. Give me all the sunshine especially when you live in a state that insists on having subzero days. Fall is my favorite time of the year. The weather is just perfect where you still get warm during the day but can be all cozy at night. Perfection.
Epcot is currently my favorite park with AK coming in at a close second. I love riding The Land and NEED to get down there for Christmas… it looks amazing. Beach Club is right now my favorite resort because let's be real… the location to Epcot and HS cannot be beat….and the Pool, SO SO Good. Fav Disney snack is the kids breakfast bowl at Woody’s lunch box! You will find me mid afternoon with an Iced Starbucks coffee in my hand… do not come at me with Jofferys. My favorite mode of transportation is walking… but if we cant walk then the Monorail is so fun.
I would have to say that planning trips for families is my absolute favorite! Helping parents reduce the stress of planning fills my cup!
When I am not planning trips for us or friends, family, and clients, I love to cook. Being in the kitchen is my therapy.
